Don't Starve Adventure Guide Part 3

Two worlds: Chapters 3-4
A relatively easy world, by this stage you will have prototyped all the items you desire, and will have pre-built ice boxes etc. So rushing this map is a good option. Paradise has everything, except for spider silk, which you'll have to go to pandemonium for! Look for Chester on paradise. Look for a touch stone in paradise in case you die unexpectantly in pandemonium (which you won't if you make sure to keep at least a log suit on). Pre-build for the next chapter, bring basic resources and organise what you want to bring with you. Check paradise for all the wormholes, as there may be a sick worm hole, you night not be able to return to paradise, so look for a normal worm hole so you can return to paradise if you need to.. Make sure you are fully prepared (both for pandemonium and the next chapter!)
Rush pandemonium there is little point in even setting up a small camp in Pandemonia if you're already prepared for the next chapter!! If you have little food, you can quickly fish in the ponds for fish. Once in Pandemonium, finding 'things' as fast as possible is a priority! Fishing and Tallbirds may provide food if you need it, or if you are looking for food to bring with you to the next chapter..
The day length in paradise is very long, and the weather is calm. Once the player reaches pandemonium the day length returns to normal and their is frequent rain. Pandemonium isn't completely inhospitable, there are a few grass tufts, saplings, trees, ponds for food and of course Merms for food!

Darkness: Chapter 5
Really this is not as scary as you might think, if you are prepared with some food, the miner hat, walking cane, fireflies, and either a log suit or a bug net.. This chapter can be rushed in 6 or 7 days. Hounds attack on this map, so rushing the chapter will save you from fighting a growing number of them! As there are no buffalo or pigs you will need to fight them yourself, with a log suit, spear, or tooth traps!
Getting this far was the main challenge and King of Winter is in my opinion more difficult than Darkness. I finished this world building one campfire beside ponds, I only had to go fishing once and the rest of the 5 or 6 days I spent on this world I found 'things' and wasted no time finding the 'wooden thing.'
Camping by ponds gives a very good supply of fish. The Koalefant can be found on this chapter, supplying a fantastic source of 7-8 meat! Plus an edible trunk which restores 40 health and 75 hunger when cooked! Tallbirds and Merms should provide even more food!! Mix monster meat and mushrooms in the crock pot for meatballs.
Tents restore sanity and health lost if you feel the need.. Tents are good because of the constant night time.. And remember there is no freezing or overheating to worry about!
You will more than likely go completely insane (because of the permanent night) but this is fine, just kill shadows monsters with the spear.. Dodge their attack then hit them with a spear, repeat this; killing a shadow monster will give either 30 or 50 sanity! Pigs won't come outside in this map because of the eternal night, unless you hammer their houses..
It is easy to run past the dozens of spider nests and hound mounds without fighting either, a walking cane helps too!
The abundant fireflies make the miner hat supreme on this map, and leaves you more grass and twigs. Using a bug net, 10 fireflies will keep the miner hat powered for 5 days, there are countless fireflies, so your miner hat won't run out of power, if you search you can find a good supply of twigs and grass for torches anyway..
Having a little food as you race for the things will keep you alive. Setting up camp near ponds and basic resources is advisable. Obviously wear a log suit when travelling through the marshes! There are even touch stones to be found in this map!

General Tips:
Rushing some chapters, can sometimes work but taking time to gain crafting knowledge and acquire valuable items is usually the safest, but more time consuming way..
The walking cane is arguably the best item in the game! It also acts as an indestructible weapon which is handy at the start of each chapter until you find or craft a spear! Use the walking cane to hunt rabbits too..
Character's strengths and weaknesses can give either an edge or a challenge on the different worlds. WX-78 is one of the easiest characters to play, giving a late game advantage, as upgraded he has 200 hunger, 300 sanity, 400 health.. Players can carry over the gears they find by looting the clockwork enemies near each wooden things. They act as a superior version of jerky for WX-78, that also doesn't spoil..
There are no permanent summer levels like the King of Winter level is permanent Winter.. It is very unlikely you will have to deal with the overheating effects of summer, unless you play A Cold Reception.. Therefore the cooling amulet is less important, even though it is very helpful in survival mode, you will probably play the entire adventure mode without having to worry about summer.
As you know items can be pre-built for the next chapter.. I build at least a pig house, ice box, fire pits, alchemy engine. The more you pre-build the better the start you can have in the next chapter.. If you haven't played king of Winter yet, it is good to prepare for it as if it was the next chapter so, in this case bringing a winter dress item will be more valuable than even a walking stick! The eye bone is somewhere in each chapter! Finding Chester can be a great boost!
It's important to use time wisely on adventure mode, sitting around a campfire all night instead of
exploring, gathering silk, may be a waste of time. The miner hat is the best way to explore and gather during the night..
Also, as some basic resources may be scarce, if saplings are scarce then remaking torches can be expensive miner hat is the way to deal with this, 2 fireflies will recharge it by 80%, A fully charged miner hat will last for 8 minutes.
Ensure you have max health, sanity, and hunger before entering the next chapter to give yourself the best start in that chapter
